Four Bands Compete for Free Recording Time at Nimbus

Four artists will compete for free recording time at Nimbus School of Recording Arts at their bi-annual charity showcase, Monday, April 4th, 2011 at the Biltmore Cabaret.

Fresh off two nights opening for Steel Panther, Swan, joins two time Peak Performance Project favourite, Kuba Oms, Winnipeg’s Flying Fox & the Hunter Gatherers and Vancouver metal band Aeterna onstage at Vancouver’s top music industry showcase. Headlining the night’s performances will be Nihilate, whose upcoming album was co-produced by GGGarth Richardson at Nimbus.


Proceeds from the evening will go to support the Music Therapy programs at BC Children’s Hospital.

Nimbus School of Recording Arts was founded by Bob Ezrin, Garth Richardson and Kevin Williams, who have produced records collectively selling over 150 million copies by artists including: Pink Floyd, Jay-Z, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel, KISS, Jane’s Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Nimbus offers courses in a world-class studio for a complete music career in Music Business, Artist Development, Sound Engineering and Music Production.


Nimbus School of Recording Arts is located in Vancouver, Canada. Certificate and Diploma Programs are offered all year, with intakes in January, April, July and October.
